Evaluation of an application for managing microcredits in education

Abstrtarct
One of the major problems in developing countries is minority access to higher education. Traditional scholarships usually focus on paying eventually tuition fees or bringing brilliant students to develop countries. Additionally, these systems used to be opaque and, consequently, a corruption source. We propose a system of student loans to pay tuition fees in exchange for work. We also provide UBURYO. It is the FOSS, that we have developed, to manage this loan system in a simple, trustworthy, fair and efficient way. We deployed the loan system in the University of Ngozi (UNG, Burundi). A shallow evaluation demonstrates that system sustainability is feasible.

THE TRAINING OF THE THAI NATIONAL ANTHEM IN FOUR PART HARMONY FOR PRE-COLLEGE STUDENT CHOIR AT THE COLLEGE OF MUSIC MAHIDOL UNIVERSITY


The objective of this thematic paper was to study the coaching method of the Thai national anthem singing in Four-part for the Pre-college student choir at college of music, Mahidol University. The study is based on documents, interviews, observation, audio and video recordings to collect relevant information summarized as Follows: 1. The instructor assigns students to listen to the sound of a chorus of older students. 2. Students are divided into four groups then learn to sing solfege according to the musical notation. 3. Once they can sing solfege fluently, students then with the ensemble. 4. Should students sing with mistakes,it is resolved immediately. Students must sing after the teacher repeatedly until they can sing properly 5. After the students are able to sing consistently with the right pitch,students then learn to sing with lyrics. 6. Finally the students sing the Thai National Anthem in four-part as an ensemble. Suggestions from this study: 1. There should be a VCD on the rehearsal process as a model for other schools to use. 2. There should be a study on how other schools can apply this method to their non-music major students. 3. There should be a teachers training for singing the Thai national Anthem in four-part for teachers across Thailand to develop their knowledge.
